European outfit revive interest in struggling Chelsea forward

FalcaoChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are breathing a sigh of relief this afternoon after some news finally went their way, as it appears a major flop could be leaving after all.

The Telegraph state Monaco are once again exploring the option of bringing Radamel Falcao back from his loan spell at Chelsea early, with the Colombian once again struggling in his bid to make a positive impression in Premier League football.

Following a disastrous stint with Manchester United last season, Chelsea’s risk of bringing Falcao to Stamford Bridge has not paid off as the former Atletico Madrid hitman has scored just once for the Blues- and now faces time on the sidelines with a serious thigh problem.

Monaco explored the option of an early termination previously this month but decided against a move due to Falcao’s current injury problem, though it’s now claimed a member of Monaco’s staff has held new talks with the South American.

Chelsea want to reinforce their striking force this month but until Loic Remy or Falcao is offloaded it could be a problem and time is swiftly running out for the struggling Blues.

Our landlord believes it will be a miracle of Monaco decide to bring Falcao back to France and believe his time at the highest level of football is finished.
