Mega rich French outfit Monaco have interested Football Transfer Tavern punters so far this summer and the capture of Chelsea captain John Terry would only enhance that if you believe Metro.
The former England defender saw his playing time limited last season under Rafael Benitez and the 32-year-old fell down the pecking order to fourth choice centre half at Stamford Bridge.
Terry signed a new one-year deal in West London earlier this year along with fellow long timers Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard but Monaco are sure they can tempt him to the south of France.
The French Ligue 2 winners have already splashed the cash this summer bringing long time Chelsea target Radamel Falcao in for more than £50 million amongst others.
Monaco are hoping to pip fellow French big spenders Paris Saint-Germain to domestic glory this season as well as returning to the Champions League after a long spell away.
Would Chelsea even consider a mere £7 million for their legend? Rate this rumour below.
