Everton agree deal for 26-year-old with fellow PL club

Our Everton fans are looking for Ronald Koeman to get the chequebook out this January but it looks as though departures are on the menu at the moment – concerning Oumar Niasse, according to Sky Sports.

After a summer of spending at Goodison Park that saw the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams join the Blues, many here by the bar are expecting more of the same this month but it appears they’ll have to bide their time.

Instead, they seem set to finally see the back of Niasse – temporarily at least – as a deal with Hull City has been agreed over a loan move.

The striker has really struggled on Merseyside since signing in the January window of last season and has very rarely looked like threatening to get into the side.

Hull, meanwhile, have really found it hard to find the back of the net this season – leaving them in the bottom three – and so they’ll be hoping Niasse can find some form before the end of the campaign.

Our landlord isn’t holding his breath over that one, though, and thinks the Tigers are taking a huge gamble.
