Everton fans around the Tavern will be interested to hear that respected Italian news outlet Gazetta dello Sport have linked the club with Diego Lopez, along with Bournemouth.
The goalkeeper is currently contracted until 2018, but Gazetta dello Sport have claimed that both of the Premier League sides are monitoring the AC Milan stopper.
The 34-year old moved to the Serie A side after falling behind Keylor Navas in the pecking order for the number 1 jersey at Real Madrid.
This season, the Spaniard has only managed to accumulate 8 appearances from of Milan’s 18 league fixtures, making 15 saves.
However, our landlord doesn’t think that a switch to Goodison Park will happen for Lopez, with the former Sevilla and Villarreal man struggling for game time at his previous two clubs, as well as a only being two years younger than his Everton’s current American counterpart, Tim Howard.
