Indeed, with the January transfer window only two months away, soon certain players will see clubs going toe to toe with one another. Not only to secure their man, but to demonstrate who has greater power and financial clout.
The latest story that has got our punters excited comes from the Mirror, who report that Swansea and Everton are keeping tabs on Burnley Defender, Michael Keane. The reports state that Everton scouts have watched Keane on two occasions, with the England U21 player putting in several solid performances for the Clarets.
Keane is so highly rated in fact, that Rio Ferdinand rated his former Manchester United team-mate as one of the top three young English centre backs.
It would appear that both the Toffees and the Swans may be looking to cash in on Keane’s potential, with reports suggesting that the clubs will start the bidding at £4m. This one looks set to be interesting!
Is Keane ready to become a regular Premier League starter? Let us know in the comments below!
