Our Everton and West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are both confident that their respective sides are going to finish the season strongly.
The Toffees are the favourites by some way to secure that seventh placed finish in the Premier League to qualify for Europe though the Hammers will be hoping to get as close to them as possible by May.
Then, going into the summer, both will be keen to strengthen and, according to The Sun, Lovre Kalinic of Gent could be one man both will try to sign.
The goalkeeper has impressed for the Belgian side with him a key part of the reason as to why Spurs were dumped out of Europe by them last week.
He could be on the move in the summer, then, and our landlord reckons both Everton and West Ham would be wise to target a new stopper when the window opens.
Neither side have really had a convincing man between the sticks this season with changes occurring and so we could be set for a transfer tussle in the near future.
Where should Kalinic head? Let us know below!
