Everton close in on first summer signing after agreeing personal terms

The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a busy summer of transfer business.

Under the guidance of former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman, the Toffees have been a much-improved outfit this season although they can achieve better things with a few reinforcements.

Everton will be looking to bring in some top signings this summer to start mounting a challenge for Champions League qualification.

And they are closing in on the signing of a top target after agreeing personal terms with Sandro Ramirez, according to The Times.

It is no secret that Ronald Koeman wants to add more firepower to Everton’s attack with his side being reliant on Romelu Lukaku’s goals.

Sandro Ramirez is regarded as one of the best young attackers in Spain.

The 21-year-old joined Malaga from Barcelona last summer and has impressed in La Liga.

The Spain under-21 international has struck 16 goals in 27 games for Malaga and is now being chased by a host of clubs.

Eager to get ahead in the multiple club race for Ramirez, Everton have held talks with him over a contract and have reportedly agreed personal terms.

The former Barcelona starlet has a £5m release clause which Everton are expected to meet.
