Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting change this summer and could be about to get what they want, however, the club are going to have to battle hard to get their man.
The Toffees were beaten by West Ham United on the final day of the season at the London Stadium and it resulted in a number of locals to call for Sam Allardyce to be sacked from his position as boss.
According to the Daily Mirror, it appears the Goodison Park outfit are set to do what the punters in the bar have been crying out for, although they will need to go up against the Hammers once again, with both interested in Marco Silva.
The Portuguese manager was lined up by the Toffees in November when he was still in charge of Watford and it looks like they are prepared to go for him again as Paulo Fonseca continues to stall a possible move.
The Everton fans in the Tavern will be delighted that reports are claiming the club are looking at options of who to bring in next, with a number of the locals growing disillusioned with the way Allardyce has guided their team.
Silva would be considered a good appointment, having proven his ability in the Premier League, despite a slippery patch with the Hornets once their interest became known and could help to take them back into European football.
