Everton made a number of additions in the summer of 2017, however, it appears that they may already have to make a decision about one of those men.
Henry Onyekuru joined the Goodison Park outfit for a fee thought to be around £7.2million (as per Transfermarkt) from KAS Eupen and is believed to be attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
The Nigerian, who is currently starring on loan at Galatasaray this season, has been unable to feature for the Toffees since his arrival with issues obtaining a work permit.
The likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Olympique de Lyonnais and Olympique de Marseille are all thought to be keen on the 21-year-old, with Paris Saint-Germain also being touted as a possible destination.
Everton would have signed Onyekuru with the idea of him making an impact at Goodison Park, however, with the problems they have had to try and enable that to happen, cashing in on him could be a good move for them.
However, the Toffees could look to keep the player and continue the fight to get a work permit for the player as he looks a really bright prospect and could offer the club an attacking presence that they have been looking for.
It remains to be seen what the likes of Marco Silva and Marcel Brands decide to do, whether it be in January or next summer, however, it does not appear as the 21-year-old is short of options at the present moment.
