Everton are planning on repeating their success from the signing of Marouane Fellaini by raiding Belgium once again for another youngster. Mouscron’s teenage winger Maxime Lestienne, available on a free transfer, is said by the Daily Mail to be a target for Everton boss David Moyes to boost his mid-table side.
The 17-year-old left sider has already made his first team debut in Belgium’s top flight for Mouscron and is interesting a number of clubs including Club Brugge, Lille, PSV and Anderlecht but Moyes will fancy his chances of beating them all to his signing.
Everton have been hit by many injuries this season which has seen them sit 11th, a far cry from their usual push for Europe, and Moyes is looking for bargain signings to increase his squad depth. With funds low at the club, Moyes will have to use his proven ilk for snapping up talents to get his hands on some real bargains.
