After it was announced that Everton right back Seamus Coleman suffered a stress fracture on his foot while on international duty with the Republic of Ireland, The Toffees are facing a selection problem.
The Irish captain has been a mainstay at Goodison Park for almost a decade, but is looking at a spell on the sidelines. Coleman suffered a broken leg in early 2017, and England under-21 international Jonjoe Kenny stepped up for fill the Irishman’s boots.
With someone needed to fill in again, we asked you whether you wanted Kenny to step up again. These were the results:
The results clearly show that the Everton fans have a lot of confidence in the 21-year-old, as 96% of fans wanted to see him play.
This may well be because the club are lacking any other options in that position, with centre back Mason Holgate the only other candidate to fill in.
However, Kenny did a wonderful job last time he was called upon, and the chances are he will perform again.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
