Everton: Fans couldn’t care less about Fabian Delph injury update

The latest injury news coming out of the Everton camp is that Fabian Delph will be fit for selection for the Merseyside derby after missing the Chelsea fixture at Stamford Bridge (via Liverpool Echo). However, the news hasn’t exactly been a welcome boost for most fans…
Fabian Delph signed for Everton last summer for an initial fee of £8.5million and Blues fans haven’t been happy with his impact on the team so far. The England international infamously clashed with several Everton fans through Instagram after a barrage of critical comments.
Delph missed Sunday’s 4-0 loss to Chelsea through illness but an update has confirmed that he will be available to play against Liverpool on Monday. Some fans, however, clearly don’t think the 30-year-old can help with the team.
One fan has predicted a ‘6-0’ win to Liverpool if Delph is involved in the squad for the derby while another has said ‘he will be absent whether he’s off the pitch or on it’.
