The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s new kit for next season after the Toffees released it on Twitter today. The new strip will be worn for the first time next weekend when Everton host Southampton. The new kit, designed by Umbro, will have the same sponsor as the current season in SportPesa and the fans, who can buy the new kit on the Everton website, already seem to have fallen in love with it.

The 2017/18 season hasn’t been kind to Everton on the pitch. The Toffees spent an obscene amount of money last summer on players that have mostly failed to live up to expectations on the pitch. Couple the underperformers with the fans well-known frustration with their manager, Sam Allardyce and it’s easy to see how things have turned sour at Goodison Park this season.
The fans will be hoping that next year can be a different one for them. Some of the players signed last summer will have had a chance to settle at the club and Allardyce will be able to build on what he’s done in the current campaign next season. The board will no doubt be making funds available for Big Sam, as they did in January, and with the ex-England boss in a position to ship off some deadwood and bring in some of his own players, the fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that the 2018/19 season can be a success.

Really nice that lads. Congrats.
Just need a decent forward thinking manager to complement it.

Pity this year's kit didn't have white Umbro diamonds down the sleeves instead of navy blue. That kit from the late 70's early 80's is my all time favourite
