Everton fans on Twitter eager to see Ramirez leave Goodison Park

With the additions of Richarlison, Lucas Digne, Bernard, Yerry Mina, Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma, Everton were able to strengthen multiple areas of their squad during the transfer window.

However, one department that perhaps could have also done with some reinforcing is up front.

Everton do not have the most reliable of options to cover for current first-choice striker Cenk Tosun with Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin hardly sharpshooters in front of goal.

Meanwhile, the last of the Toffees’ strikeforce Sandro Ramirez is set for a second loan spell away from the club despite having only arrived in Merseyside last summer.

£9m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Ramirez joined Everton from Malaga back in 2017 when Ronald Koeman was still in charge but has been a huge disappointment.

The 23-year-old was unable to find the back of the net in any of the eight Premier League appearances he made before going out on loan to Sevilla in January where he also failed to score a single goal.

The Spaniard is now set for another temporary spell in La Liga but this time with Real Sociedad (via the Sun).

With the arrival of Tosun and given how he has performed in a blue shirt, Ramirez would have struggled to get game time at Goodison Park this season and a departure is probably best for everyone.
