Everton: Fans react to journalist’s Everton manager update

Everton’s search for a new manager may finally be coming to an end.
They’ve been without a full-time boss since sacking Marco Silva earlier in the month, with caretaker Duncan Ferguson taking charge of their games with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Former Chelsea, AC Milan and Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti looks set to arrive at Goodison Park this week and take over as manager.
The Italian was sacked by Napoli last week despite guiding them to the last 16 of the Champions League.
He comes into a side in need of a major improvement, with the Toffees sitting 16th in the Premier League table as the halfway mark approaches.
Journalist Guillem Balague has received criticism for his reporting of Ancelotti’s talks with the club.
While Balague initially stated that Ancelotti would be unlikely to join Everton, within 15 hours he had reverted that statement, saying he had been convinced to join the club.
Right now Ancelotti, who is in Rome with his wife, is not looking to get another team. It would take a lot of convincing. He is aiming to get a new club in the summer after a bit of a break. Can anybody convince him otherwise? 🙂

Ancelotti now in London. He wanted to be away from football till summer, but the #Everton project (4 year deal, one of top 3 paid managers in world) ambitious and long term. He’d ONLY accept if he could build a good team in the next few years. He doesn’t want to drag the decision

Here’s how some fans reacted to his reversal:
Guillem you need to call it a day. It’s getting embarrassing now
