Everton: Fans react to Ricardo Rodriguez interest

After a painfully slow start to the new season, transfer rumours have already began to spread, and this piece of gossip has Everton fans really talking.
Is Marco Silva the right man for Everton?
Yes

No

AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez has been at the centre of much speculation linking him with a move to Goodison Park (via CalcioMercato), potentially as back up for Lucas Digne and Seamus Coleman as the Toffees look to build further on an expensively assembled squad.
The Swiss left-back had been a consistent force for Milan last season, making 35 appearances for the Rossoneri and notching three assists in the league.
Whether or not Everton’s full-back positions need reinforcing at this time is an entirely different debate, but Rodriguez could add more solidity to the Toffees back line if the transfer were to happen.
Averaging 1.5 tackles per game in Serie A this term (via WhoScored), Rodriguez tops every Everton defender in that department, showing the sort of defensive ability he could add to Marco Silva’s squad.
But should he be high on Silva’s priority list? Here’s what the fans think:
Baines out of contract end of season so would make sense as back up/competition for Digne. Probably not true though!

Left back is probably the only position we dont need!

Not surprising. Replacement for Baines

Why? Surely the priorities are elsewhere?
