Everton: Fans roast Michael Keane following England omission

Following England manager Gareth Southgate’s squad announcement yesterday, Everton fans have taken particular notice in Michael Keane’s omission from the team, highlighting possible reasons why he was overlooked.
Keane, who signed for the Toffees back in 2017, has been dropped by Southgate heading into England’s upcoming November Euro 2020 qualifiers against Montenegro and Kosovo.
The former Burnley defender hasn’t been on his best form this season, prompting the Three Lions boss to replace him with Manchester City’s John Stones heading into their remaining two qualifying games.
Keane dropped a particularly bad game during their first qualifying stage loss for a decade against the Czech Republic in shock 2-1 defeat, allowing striker Jakub Brabec to ghost in behind for their equaliser on the night.
As a result, he has been overlooked for the squad this time around, with Toffees supporters taking to Twitter and highlighting the possible reasons why – including some hilarious takes.
Here’s how they responded to the news.
In other words, he turns like an articulated lorry and has the reaction speed of an out of date cabbage so I dropped him

He’s not wrong, Keane has been terrible since the first International Break. But he also included Joe Gomez 🤢
