At Newcastle, we all know how it ended for Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Serbian failed to see eye-to-eye with Rafa Benitez, and whilst his Fulham spell has ended in the disappointment of relegation, he could be set to get a third go in the Premier League, as Everton have registered an interest in the aggressive, troublesome striker.
BREAKING FROM SKY SPORTS NEWS:
Everton are very interested in signing Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer, Sky Sports News understands.
Fulham do not want to sell the 24-year-old but the player is understood to want to play in the Premier League again next season. pic.twitter.com/lftGnSgOcK

The links that claim Everton want Mitrovic have surfaced via Sky Sports News, and whilst the 24-year-old striker has just been relegated, he could still cost a fair bit, having signed for Fulham from the Geordies for £22 million last summer. If he does move to Goodison Park, Mitrovic likely won’t be alone in doing so as Silva is set to have a big summer of spending in the next few months.
In the Sky Sports News article it is claimed that Mitrovic is just one player that Silva is looking at alongside a new winger, centre-midfielder, centre-back, right-back and back-up goalkeeper. If Silva gets all on that’s all his wishlist it will cost Farhad Moshiri a lot of money, although if those reinforcements can work alongside Mitrovic to help him find his best form and fire the Toffees into Europe it will all be worth it.
You can see what the Everton fans make of the Mitrovic rumours here:
Rather have someone with more pace but to say this fella puts it about is an understatement he’s abit like a Diego Costa and only 24 I think we could do worse wouldn’t wanna pay more than 25/30m though

I rate him still only 22, abs scored decent return playing in a poor team, I think he will get 20 for us no bother, works hard, is an arsehole to play against. And with dignes crosses, will be perfect to get on the end of them.

The amount of crosses Digne puts in I think he would score a few. Hes decent in the air.

Bullied us at Craven Cottage. Holds the ball up well. Aggressive, strong, good in the air. 11 goals last season in a struggling side. Could deffo get 15-20 for us.

11 goals for a relegated Fulham side. Not bad.

He is a quality striker and has all the right attributes to be a top player at Everton.

Would be a good signing especially the amount of crosses we get in the box

The Toffees all seem to be keen on a swoop for Mitrovic, and who can blame then seeing how he bullied them at Craven Cottage not too long ago.
