Everton: ‘Fantastic’ central midfielder considering Everton offer

According to a recent report, Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira is weighing up an offer from Everton with the view to a potential January move.
The report by Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) claims that Khedira is considering offers from the Toffees and VfB Stuttgart ahead of a potential January move, as the midfielder has found himself left out of Andrea Pirlo’s first-team plans in Turin so far this season.
The £1.8 million-rated midfielder has played under Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, previously, making 35 appearances under the Italian while the pair were at Real Madrid.
And, it would appear that a reunion may be on the cards, as Juventus are reported to want the Germany international’s £184k per week wages off of their books as quickly as possible.
Do you think Khedira would be a good signing for Everton?

Transfer Tavern Take
Considering the fact that Everton only signed both of Ancelotti’s now typical midfield pairing Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan last summer, as well as the fact the Italian can call upon the likes of Andre Gomes, Tom Davies, Fabian Delph and Beni Baningime to operate from the centre of the park, signing a 33-year-old Khedira, who is likely to be demanding rather high wages, does not seem like an overly forward-thinking step move by Everton.
However, if Ancelotti is keen on a reunion with the player he has previously described as a ‘fantastic professional‘, then who are we to disagree with the 61-year-old?
