Everton will be desperate to enjoy a positive run of form as they continue to hunt down a European place, with a number of teams all fighting for limited places.
The Toffees have been rather impressive in recent times, despite making a rather disappointing start to proceedings under Marco Silva. Although, it appears as if they’re eyeing a potential addition, as according to Sun Sport, Everton are interested in signing Manchester United’s Ander Herrera.
Ander Herrera has put Premier League clubs on alert, with Manchester United willing to accept a knockdown price for the contract rebel in January.
Indeed, the midfielder is in the final year of his Old Trafford deal, and it is thought talks over an extension are at deadlock.
Interestingly, United could be willing to accept a minimal fee of between £3 million and £5 million.
And, it is understood Everton have looked at bringing the Spaniard in to help their Europa League push this season.
Ander Herrera has impressed throughout his Manchester United career, but he hasn’t been able to break into Jose Mourinho’s plans in the current campaign.
The Toffees could do with bringing in another central midfielder to sure things up and offer a different dynamic, with Andre Gomes beginning to hit top form.
