Everton interested in Godsway Donyoh

Everton returned to winning ways on Saturday when they defeated Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have been on a good run of form recently, however, it appears Marco Silva could still look to make changes in the winter transfer market.

It is believed that the manager could look to bring a striker into the fold as Cenk Tosun continues to struggle, although Richarlison appears to be thriving in the role.

However, according to a report by GhanaSoccerNet, Everton are thought to be one of three Premier League sides taking an interest in Godsway Donyoh.

The FC Nordsjaelland striker, who was once of Manchester City, has been excelling in Denmark this season, with seven goals in 11 games in the top-flight.

That form has led to Everton and the likes of Leicester City and AFC Bournemouth all take a keen interest in Donyoh, with scouts reportedly being sent to watch him in action.

The Verdict:

There is no doubt that Donyoh has been playing extremely well in Denmark, however, there will be concerns about whether he is ready to try Premier League football again or not.

In fairness, the striker is more experienced now than what he was at Manchester City and could prove to be an inspired signing for a team like Everton.

However, with Richarlison playing as well as he is at the moment and with Tosun likely to get his chances before January, it remains to be seen if he would have his chance in the side should he complete a winter switch to Goodison Park.
