Everton just haven’t been able to give supporters the results they deserve so far this season, with inconsistency halting their progress.
The Toffees will still have their sights set on securing a European place in the current campaign, but the teams above them all appear to be building up ahead of steam. Although, it looks as if the Merseyside club are eyeing a potential additon, as according to the Daily Mail, Everton are interested in signing Reuben Loftus-Cheek.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek will ask to leave Chelsea on loan in January after seeing his gamble to stay at Stamford Bridge backfire under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
The midfielder acknowledges he will have to move again to force his way back into the international picture, following a successful loan spell last season at Crystal Palace.
Everton are believed to be interested in the 22-year-old, but Crystal Palace will again be interested in January.
Reuben Loftus-Cheek was one fire last season at Selhurst Park and has made great strides on the international stage, but he finds himself stagnating behind the scenes at Chelsea in the current campaign.
The Englishman will be desperate to force a move away in the January transfer window, with Everton being able to provide him with the foundation to progress and develop.
