Everton will be desperate to secure a European spot in the current campaign, but improvements are required in order for this to happen.
The Toffees managed to bring in a number of quality players back in the summer transfer window, so they’ll be hoping to go one better this time round. Indeed, it looks as if Marco Silva is eyeing a possible swoop, as according to The Mirror, Everton are lining up a move for Gianluca Mancini.
Everton are tracking Atalanta’s Gianluca Mancini with a view to making a bid at the end of the season.
It’s thought that Mancini will decide on his future in the summer after an impressive season which has seen him make 14 Serie A appearances.
The Italian’s current club want to sign him to a contract extension, but AS Roma and Inter Milan are also interested in securing his services.
Gianluca Mancini, who is valued at £9 million (by Transfermarkt), has impressed in the current campaign at Atalanta. He has made 14 appearances and has a bright future ahead of him, so it comes as no surprise that the Toffees are open to bidding for him at the end of the season.
Although, with AS Roma and Inter Milan also registering an interest, it will be difficult for the Toffees to secure his services unless he seeks a move to the Premier League.
