The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to bring in a new striker.
In the summer transfer window, they lost key man Romelu Lukaku as he opted to move away from Goodison Park and further his career at Manchester United.
Even though they have brought in the likes of Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez, the absence of Lukaku has been noticeable as Ronald Koeman’s side have got off to a slow start.
A striker is a priority in the summer and their solution could come from within.
According to reports in Belgium, Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru could return to the club in January.
Belgian media outlet La Libre is reporting that Onyekuru has held discussions with Everton about possibly returning from his loan spell at Anderlecht in January.
The Nigerian international is hopeful that this can be agreed after an impressive start to his season-long loan spell at Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old has netted six goals in nine games for Anderlecht this season, continuing his impressive goal scoring form in Belgium.
Speaking to the Belgian press, Onyekuru confirmed that he had been at a meeting and hoped to return in January but was coy on any further details.
