Yacine Brahimi is thought to be on Everton’s radar this summer and the Premier League outfit appear to be acting quickly to try and bring him to Goodison Park.
The Porto winger is out of contract in the summer and has refused to sign a new deal with the Primera Liga side.
It is understood that the Algeria international is keen on playing in the Premier League, with both Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers having been linked with a move for the wide man.
And, according to a report by Correio da Manha, via Sport Witness, it appears The Toffees have put forward a ‘proposal’.
Brahimi has been in fine form for Porto this season, having netted seven goals and providing one assist in his 21 appearances so far.
He was a standout for The Dragons in last year’s campaign, as he helped them to their first top-flight title for five years.
Everton have lacked attacking threat at times this season and bringing Brahimi to the club could be an excellent piece of business for the club.
With the Algerian international thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League, a move to Goodison Park could be on the cards.
However, with a ‘proposal’ already thought to have been offered, whether it is tempting enough to convince the 29-year-old to join them remains to be seen.
