Everton will be wanting to improve on last season’s poor showing in the Premier League and will want to keep their best players at the club, as well as making a couple of additions to help strengthen the side.
Marco Silva was appointed as the new manager following the dismissal of Sam Allardyce earlier this summer, however, he is yet to have entered the transfer market for new faces.
The Toffees have been linked with a number of players recently, however, they have not made any signings just yet, although that is expected to change in the near future with the possibility of Malcom joining.
With the Brazilian possibly on his way to Goodison Park, that could mean Ademola Lookman may have the chance to complete a move to Germany with Red Bull Leipzig still interested in making a permanent switch for him.
According to Bild, however, the young winger is still thought to be in Silva’s plans for next season and have stated that the Bundesliga outfit will need to part with at least €20million to lure him away from the Premier League.
Lookman is an extremely talented player and has shown when given the opportunity, that he can be a threat going forward.
The former Charlton Athletic youth product made a positive impression during his time in Germany and RB Leipzig are now desperate to sign him.
Should Malcom arrive at Goodison Park this summer from Bordeaux, then a move for the 20-year-old could happen, although a fee of €20m is something the Bundesliga outfit are not quite prepared to pay for him just yet.
