Everton fans here in the Tavern are desperate to see their side challenge near the top next season after a rather disastrous campaign last time out.
The Toffees will be hoping for a better campaign next time round and transfer activity will certainly help their push for a European place. Indeed, many of our local Evertonians received a major transfer boost recently, as according to Sun Sport, Everton target Wilfried Zaha has turned down a bumper deal at Crystal Palace.
Wilfried Zaha has turned down a bumper new £125,000-a-week pay deal at Crystal Palace following interest from the likes of Tottenham, Everton and Borussia Dortmund.
Although, it’s believed that the Eagles are now set to make the Ivorian another improve contract offer, so he may be holding out for the wage increase.
So, it looks as if Everton are one step closer to pulling off a sensational transfer swoop for one of the most highly-rated wingers in the Premier League, as Wilfried Zaha recently rejected a new bumper deal at Selhurst Park.
Indeed, many of our local Evertonians are delighted about this as the Palace man may be able to take them to the next level in the next campaign.
