Everton pair Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic could still be offered way out

Everton could still be able to see a number of players leave the club this summer, despite the transfer window being closed.

According to a report in The Northern Echo, Middlesbrough remain keen on completing deals for Yannick Bolasie and Muhamed Besic and are looking to sign the pair on loan deals.

Championship sides have until the end of August to make any temporary transfers and Tony Pulis is hopeful he can convince Everton to let the pair go.

The Toffees were thought to be keen on offloading a number of their players this summer, however, they still have a large squad and Marco Silva could decide to see the opportunity as the perfect chance to permanently move them on.

Besic spent time at the Riverside Stadium last season and was hugely impressive for Boro as they reached the Play-Off’s, whilst Bolasie is expected to be surplus to requirements, with the arrival of Bernard, whilst Ademola Lookman is set to feature for the Goodison Park outfit.

The Verdict:

Everton could look to offload the players with a loan deal to the Championship outfit, however, it could be easier said than done.

It is believed Bolasie rejected a move to drop down to the second-tier, however, with no more possible moves between England’s top-flight clubs allowed, he could now be convinced to make the switch.

Besic could welcome a move back to the club as he looks to revitalise his career, although it is understood a permanent move collapsed due to the fees that would be owed to his agents.

With both not set to feature in Silva’s plans, a move to the promotion-chasing side would make complete sense.
