Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting the club to be active this summer, with many of the locals calling for changes to be made at every level of the team.
Those punters in the bar are also wanting to see Sam Allardyce replaced as soon as possible, with a number of supporters being vocal about what they think of the former West Ham United manager.
Despite successfuly completing the task of keeping the Goodison Park outfit in the Premier League, the locals were disappointed with the performances his side produced and plenty are calling for him to depart this summer.
It has been rumoured that the Everton board will consider to replace him, and reports in The Sun are suggesting that the players are already discussing who could come in next. The media outlet claims that the first-team squad have been talking about Marco Silva coming in as their next boss, although they failed to land him in November from Watford.
The Everton fans in the Tavern will be pleased that there are discussions about Allardyce’s future, however, the idea that the players are talking about it could be a disastrous situation for the club.
The Toffees still have one game to play in the Premier League, away to the Hammers, and the punters will be hoping the talk of the dressing room does not affect their performance in a negative way.
Silva being touted as the next manager could cause a little concern with the fans in the bar, as although they failed to lure him from Vicarage Road in November, his poor record at Watford ultimately lead to his dismissal in January.
