It’s been a cracking season for Everton in the Premier League under Ronald Koeman and the Toffees should be targetting European football as an absolute minimun as the season begins to roll to an end.
The Toffees fans lining the bar here in the pub have been pleased with what they’ve seen so far this season and believe if the team can secure at least Europa League football come the end of the season, they’d have a lot more pulling power in the transfer market when it comes to bringing players in.
And one man that is reportedly being lined up by Koeman is Sunderland star Jordan Pickford, who, according to the Sunday Express, will be offered staggering £90,000-a-week wages if he makes the move to Merseyside this summer.
It’s a huge sum of money for such a young goalkeeper but with Pickford promising to go on and become one of England’s brightest young goalkeepers, it’s thought the Toffees are more than prepapred to splash the cash for a man that might be worth mega-bucks in the future.
