The Toffees splashed the cash during the summer transfer window and it’s certainly paid off so far as they continue to grind out positive results. And, Marco Silva managed to fend off an approach for one of his most promising players yesterday, as according to Bild, Everton rejected a £25 million offer for Ademola Lookman.

Interestingly, the Toffees rejected a late bid for Ademola Lookman from German side RB Leipzig, as the Bundesliga side attempted to bring the youngster back to Germany.
Indeed, the forward spent the second half of last season on loan at RB Leipzig and is believed to have been open to returning on a permanent deal.
Everton will be pleased that they managed to hold onto the youngster as he could have a big part to play in the future of the club having shown plenty of promise thus far.
Indeed, the 20-year-old was sensational during his loan spell in the Bundesliga last season and a move back to Germany could have been in the offing if Leipzig met the Toffees’ £30 million valuation.
