Manager Marco Silva has made strengthening Everton in the wide positions a priority for this transfer window with Watford's Richarlison closing in on a move to Goodison Park.

The young Brazilian had his medical today (via Sky Sports) and, once his transfer is made official, Everton could quickly move on to signing another winger.

Goal reports Crystal Palace star man Wilfried Zaha is being lined up by the Merseyside club, although any potential transfer is likely to be as expensive -- if not more -- as the Richarlison deal.

The Breakdown

The Ivory Coast international could cost up to £60m, according to the Daily Mail, a price Everton may not want to pay after spending so much on Richarlison.

If so, a cheaper alternative could be AC Milan's Suso.

Suso, who is valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, has been AC Milan's standout performer in a pretty dark period for the club.

Last season, he was able to score six times and assist a further seven goals, while the Serie A campaign before that he hit the back of the net seven times, creating nine more goals for his team-mates along the way

The Spaniard likes to operate on the right from which he can then cut in from with his left foot before firing a shot towards goal.

AC Milan currently find themselves in trouble with UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations, meaning sells are likely at the San Siro this summer with Suso being touted as a possible departure.

And if so, then Everton should consider bringing the former Liverpool man to Goodison Park.
