Everton should take a risk and sign this £4.25m-rated striker to replace Lukaku

Everton and manager Ronald Koeman will no doubt be expecting a busy summer ahead in terms of transfers, with plenty of incomings expected and some of their star names being linked with big European clubs.

The Toffees fans here in the Transfer Tavern are once again preparing themselves for an onslaught on their star men, with Ross Barkley, Tom Davies, and Romelu Lukaku all likely to be targeted by clubs with huge spending power.

Our landlord has been engaging in some serious conversation though with the Everton fans this week, and one player he has mentioned who could be a star at Goodison Park is Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham.

Rated at £4.25m on website Transfermarkt, the young forward has been a revelation in the Championship this season with Bristol City, banging in over 20 goals for the Robins as they ensured survival in the second tier.

Abraham looks to be one of the top young striking talents in the country, and if Everton do lose Romelu Lukaku, then signing someone like Abraham could be the ideal replacement.

With Chelsea manager Antonio Conte likely to go and buy further striking talent himself this summer, the chances of Abraham becoming a regular for the Blues looks slim, and Everton could prove to be an enticing option for him.

The Toffees have placed a lot of faith in young players this year, and this should only encourage Abraham, who could well flourish given the chance of regular first team football in the top flight.

Everton fans, what do you think to this? Would you welcome Abraham? Let us know in the comments!
