The Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are telling us that they want Henry Onyekuru back as soon as possible.
Everton fended off interest from the likes of West Ham United and Arsenal to land Henry Onyekuru in the summer transfer window but then they sent him out on loan.
He had been playing for KAS Eupen and he joined their Belgian rivals Anderlecht in a loan move.
Since that move, he has netted seven goals in fourteen outings as he continues to impress at domestic level.
Now, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, reported via The Sun, Fiorentina have entered the race to sign Onyekuru.
They join Juventus, Barcelona and Manchester United in holding an interest in the promising young striker.
Everton now face widespread competition for the Nigeria international, who recently expressed his desire to return to Goodison Park in January and help their Premier League campaign.
But will the Toffees be able to hold onto their prize youngster if other clubs start firming up their interest with concrete bids?
The 20-year-old’s goal scoring exploits, as well as his versatility and ability to play as a winger or as a striker, make him a good investment for clubs across Europe.
