Everton will set their sights set on securing all three points against Marco Silva’s former club Watford tomorrow night, with the opportunity to climb back into sixth position.
The Toffees have defied all expectations in the current campaign as their summer signings continue to impress at Goodison Park. Although, the Merseyside club did suffer a big setback on the transfer front recently, as according to Le10 Sport (via HITC), Wolves are interested in Nicolas Pepe.
It was reported that Everton were keeping tabs on Pepe back in September ahead of a potential January swoop.
But, they suffered a big setback in their potential pursuit recently, as it’s understood that the 23-year-old caught the eye of a Wolves scout who was present at Lille’s win against Montpellier in midweek.
The winger has established himself as one of the hottest topics in world football this season, with 10 goals and seven assists to his name in 17 appearances.
The Toffees will be disappointed that another club has joined the race for Nicolas Pepe as it just makes it even harder for them to secure his services, with Arsenal and Spurs also in the race.
Everton already have the likes of Theo Walcott, Richarlison and Bernard at their disposal, but Pepe has the ability to take them up another level in the Premier League.
