Everton have been very impressive under Marco Silva this season, so they’ll be desperate to build on their recent form by securing all three points against Watford on Monday.
The Toffees will have their sights set on securing a European spot in the current campaign, after spending a large amount of money during the summer transfer window.
Interestingly, the Toffees were linked with a move for the Serbian international back in November, with Marco Silva said to be interested in bringing in more attacking options once the January transfer window opens.
But, it now appears as if they aren’t the only ones in the race as Shakhtar Donetsk are said to be keen on doing a deal for the Benfica winger.
However, Everton will have to stump if the cash if they want to sign him as the Portuguese club will refuse to sell Zivkovic for less than € 30million (£26.8 million).
Andrija Zivkovic, who is valued at £16.2 million (by Transfermarkt), is a very exciting attacker that has already enjoyed a lot of success on the international stage. He also has six assists to his name at Benfica this season, so he definitely knows how to create in the final third.
The Toffees already have the likes of Theo Walcott, Ademola Lookman, Richarlison and Bernard who can play in wide areas, but they could do with bringing in one more attacker to provide more quality.
