Everton are believed to be keen on adding some attacking threat to their side in January as they continue to struggle to find goals.
However, it would appear as though the Toffees could have been dealt a possible transfer blow for one of their rumoured targets.
The winger is thought to be keen to try and fight for his place at the Nou Camp, despite having struggled to play over 300 minutes.
Marco Silva has had to rely on the likes of Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson to find the back of the net on a regular basis, but there is a real lack of firepower currently at Goodison Park.
Malcom’s desire to remain at Barcelona will surely come as a blow to Everton’s chances of landing him in January.
However, the Spanish outfit may decide to cash in on a player that has played just under 300 minutes for them since arriving from Girondins de Bordeaux in the summer.
The 21-year-old is arguably not the type of player that Everton should be looking at this winter either, with an out-and-out striker surely their top priority.
