Everton will kickoff 2019 with a home contest against Leicester City at Goodison Park on New Year’s Day.
The Toffees will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they host the Foxes after being defeated by Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend.
Marco Silva’s side have been largely inconsistent with their form this season and currently sit 10th in the Premier League standings.
A win will help to lift Everton back to seventh and it appears the Merseyside outfit will receive some encouraging news ahead of the game against Leicester.
The pacy England Under-21 international has missed the last three matches with an ankle injury.
Everton have been extremely inconsistent this season and will want to start 2019 in the best possible way.
Should Lookman be involved on New Year’s Day, he would provide the Toffees with a real attacking threat that the Foxes’ defence may struggle to handle.
However, with Leicester looking to bounce back from their own weekend defeat to Cardiff City, it could be a tightly contested affair at Goodison Park on Tuesday.
