Everton will look to advance to the next round of the FA Cup when they meet Millwall at The Den on Saturday evening.
Marco Silva will want to ensure his Toffees’ side are not on the wrong end of a potential cup upset and will want to go as far as possible in the competition.
The Championship have been on a good run of form in the Championship recently, although they have been struggling for consistency in the second tier – a little bit like Everton in the Premier League this season.
However, it appears that Silva has some encouraging news as they prepare for the potentially testing affair in south London.
According to the club’s official website, Everton has almost a full squad available to choose from, giving him plenty of options and the chance to give some of his stars a rest.
Only Phil Jagielka will miss the game through a muscle injury, but the likes of Yerry Mina and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could return to the starting XI.
Everton will feel confident that they can get a result against Millwall and progress to the next round and having almost a full squad available will be a boost.
Silva’s side have had a disappointing couple of months and will want to ensure that does not continue in the capital on Saturday.
However, as we have seen in the past, the FA Cup has the ability to provide a number of shocks and The Toffees will not want to be a part of one of those stories this weekend.
