Everton will head to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the lunchtime kick-off against Manchester City.
The Toffees have been performing well under Marco Silva, however, there will be some concerns that they have not been able to pick up the three points in their last three matches.
But, with the trip to the Premier League champions following their own defeat to Chelsea last weekend, the Goodison Park outfit will know they will be in for a testing afternoon.
Idrissa Gana Gueye is thought to be a doubt for the game after he picked up a knock in the meeting against Watford on Monday night.
The Senegal international will face a late fitness test as he leaves Silva sweating with a decision to make over the £18million-rated ace, as per Transfermarkt.
Gueye’s potential absence could be a huge blow for Everton and Silva as they head to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The midfielder has been an excellent player for the Toffees during his time at Goodison Park and has been a key figure in the Portuguese manager’s side.
Although the game against the champions was always going to be a tricky affair, it could be that more difficult without Gueye in the team.
