Everton could be set to receive a huge influx of transfer funds with many players linked with a January exit.

After struggling to impress since joining the club from Besiktas for £27m, reports via various sources including the Liverpool Echo suggest that Marco Silva is open to offloading Cenk Tosun in the current transfer window. The Turk has failed to have the desired impact at Goodison Park with Crystal Palace emerging as potential suitors. Silva could also be forced to spend big to sign a replacement for Idrissa Gueye who has been linked (as per the Daily Mail) with a move to Paris St Germain.

The sales would give the Portuguese some valuable January transfer funds to play with before deadline day in less than two weeks. One or two quality additions could give the Toffees they boost they need to push on and secure European football on Merseyside next season.

One man Silva should be keeping a close eye on is Nordsjaelland sensation – Andreas Skov Olsen. Valued at just £1.58m by Transfermarkt, the winger graduated successfully from the club’s youth academy in the summer and has taken his opportunity in the first-team with both hands. The 19-year-old has been in magnificent form this season, netting an incredible 15 goals as well as registering four assists for his team-mates in all competitions.

Olsen is primarily a right winger but is also comfortable on the left making him a useful option for Silva to have at his disposal. The Denmark U21 international is strong on either foot which makes him extremely unpredictable and allows him to take chances on either side. Olsen also possesses blistering pace and silky skills meaning he could prove to be a real threat in the Everton forward line.

The youngster has the potential to be one of the finest attackers in Europe and it won’t be long before the top clubs come calling should his form continue.
