Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will be starting to get excited about the summer and the potential signings the club will make and the latest reports will definitely get the locals bouncing.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Toffees are set to compete against a host of other Premier League sides for Watford’s Richarlison. The Brazilian has had an impressive debut season for the Hornets, managing to net five strikes in his first 12 matches.
His form has dropped considerably since November, however, it is thought the 20-year-old is just suffering from tiredness after not having a break from football since he was at Fluminense in his homeland.
Everton will need to compete with Manchester United and Chelsea should they wish to bring the attacker to Goodison Park and locals will feel they could have an edge over their Premier League counterparts. The Toffees could possibly offer him first-team football on a more regular basis, as he has been accustomed to with Watford, although the other two sides are known as bigger clubs and have European football on offer.
Desperate to see their side improve, the Everton fans in the bar would love to see Richarlison arrive.
The Everton fans will be watching developments of a possible Richarlison move with interest as the 20-year-old has shown to be a bright star and has an untold amount of ability. The locals will be urging Sam Allardyce and the Toffees to do what they can to get a deal done.
Along with Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott, Everton could boast a wonderful frontline if Richarlison arrived.
