Everton among clubs keen on summer move for talented Brazilian forward (not Richarlison)

Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will be watching with interest about who the club bring in during the summer and the locals will start to become excited if they can land an attacking midfielder they have been rumoured to be interested in.

The Toffees are keen to build on their squad, and offload some of their fringe men, during the first summer transfer window with Sam Allardyce in charge. The former England manager will want to make some changes to the side and make it his own, having taken over from Ronald Koeman at the beginning of the winter period.

He has sent his scouts on a mission to find players that could help them achieve their aims of reaching European football consistently and has once again found an attacking target in the Turkish Super Lig, where he found Cenk Tosun, according to reports in Portugal.

Record are claiming that Everton are interested in signing Anderson Talisca from Benfica, who has been impressing for Besiktas on a loan deal this season. The 24-year-old has been on fire in front of goal and has scored 18 times during this year’s campaign, whilst also providing five assists.

The Toffees will have to battle hard to bring the Brazil international to Goodison Park in the summer, with the likes of CSKA Moscow (who TMW link), Liverpool, Valencia, AC Milan, Olympique de Marseille and AS Roma, whilst the Turkish side are wanting to make a deal permanent and are considered favourites due to a 21million euro clause.

Landlord’s Verdict

The locals in the Tavern will be excited about the prospect of Talisca joining them, however, they will know that it could be a hard deal to convince him to join them as the offer of Champions League football from every other team rumoured to be interested could be on the table.
