Everton are considering their options for Yannick Bolasie after the DR Congo international rejected a potential move to CSKA Moscow, according to Sky Sports.
Noting in their Transfer Centre (August 30, 13:17), Sky Sports claim Bolasie was offered the chance to join CSKA on an initial one-year deal, which would have become a permanent move next summer for an undisclosed fee.
Bolasie opted against accepting the terms proposed by the Russian Super League outfit, though, and now faces an uncertain future at Goodison Park as Everton await renewed approaches for the £75,000-a-week (Spotrac) outcast.
It is suggested the 30-year-old winger has potential suitors elsewhere, including one unnamed side set to compete in this season’s Europa League, and that offers are anticipated imminently, with most major transfer windows closing on September 2.
This is not the first time CSKA Moscow have been connected with a move for Bolasie, either, as Russian outlet Championat suggested he had been offered to the VEB Arena natives at the start of the month.
Everton were said to be keen on offloading the forward acquired from Crystal Palace for a reported £25million (BBC), but Bolasie appeared to reject a move to Koni, as he replied to one fan on Twitter suggesting he would not relocate to Russia following the treatment Malcom received in his debut for Zenit St Petersburg.
Nah g not on that Malcom treatment 🌚

Fans of Zenit protested the signing of the former FC Barcelona winger, linked with moves to Everton this summer (Mundo Deportivo), by holding aloft a banner which sarcastically thanked the club’s management for upholding their traditions.
The Landskrona fanbase have previously urged their side to not sign black players, as well.
It remains to be seen where Bolasie will end up with his future at Everton seemingly at its end, after spending the first half of last season on loan with Aston Villa before joining RSC Anderlecht in the winter.
The Blues have since added Alex Iwobi to Marco Silva’s ranks to further add competition for the wide positions, where Richarlison, Theo Walcott and Bernard already out-ranked Bolasie.
