Everton chief set to once again earn his stripes with seemingly bargain transfer deal

Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see who Ronald Koeman manages to sign for their side this summer.

After last season saw them run the top six close and new signings bed in well, this new window provides the real opportunity for the club to make the statement that they are ready to break into the elite.

For sure, that is where there fans want to be and so Koeman must start signing some top class names before too long.

It appears, though, that the fans needn’t worry as if the Dutchman can get the deal for Sandro Ramirez over the line, he will once again be highlighting his astuteness in the market.

Indeed, Koeman has already signed some good players for the club and he has identified one of their remaining weak spots – the lack of striking options up top.

Sandro, then, is a very exciting looking striker thanks to his performances for Malaga last season whilst he also has the pedigree of coming through the Barcelona set-up as a youth player.

For sure, then, he carries great ability and the best thing about this potential deal is that – according to The Daily Mail – the deal could cost as little as £5.2 million.

That, put simply, is a real welcome breath of fresh air with the former Southampton man proving that there is still good deals to be had.

It also once again highlights to the Toffees that they’ve got a manager with a great eye for business in charge and, most crucially, thanks to Sandro’s 16 goals last season, a manager who knows talent when he sees it.
