Everton have announced via their official Twitter account that three of their players have signed new contracts with our resident Toffees fans pleased to see their team get them tied down.

The players in question are Gareth Barry, Mason Holgate and Leighton Baines highlighting the Blues’ commitment to both the here and now and the long-term with these deals.
Whilst Barry and Baines are current first team regulars they are both coming towards the end of their careers and look set to see them out with the Goodison Park club.
At the other end of the spectrum, though, is Holgate who impressed at the start of this season filling in for Seamus Coleman and looks set for a bright future in the game.
Seeing young players sign new deals always enthralls our local punters here by the bar no matter who they support and our landlord thinks Holgate could be one of the most promising players to come through for a good while.
Confidence is beginning to return to Goodison after beating Arsenal this week and these new deals will surely only enhance that.
