Everton eyeing flying CL winger to help bolster European surge

Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping some more business goes through before the end of the window and, according to Dutch outlet Voetbalzone, that could be about to happen.

The Toffees look to have re-found their feet that left them wanting at one point this season as they recorded another victory at the weekend against Crystal Palace.

They are the leaders for the Europa League outside the top six and our landlord thinks it will take quite the effort from West Brom and the like to depose them.

Indeed, with the signings of Morgan Schneiderlin and Ademola Lookman the Toffees are looking strong and apparently they are keen to add Jonathan Cafu to their ranks.

The winger is currently with Ludogorets and has played in the Champions League for the Bulgarian side this season with some of our punters recognising him from the group games with Arsenal.

He impressed in the competition, too, with his flying displays down the wing and our landlord reckons if he can replicate that level at Everton he’d be a good signing – it’s a big if, though.
