Everton: Fabian Delph’s Instagram message warrants praise from supporters despite sending off during Watford win

Despite being sent off during Everton’s dramatic 3-2 comeback win away to Watford, some supporters have reacted positively to Fabian Delph’s message on Instagram via the Toffees Blues – with the player apologising for his red card.
The Englishman, who signed from Manchester City last summer, has also since gone on to laud the travelling support as the ‘11th man‘ during their team’s performance. Goals from Adam Masina and Roberto Pereyra originally gave the Toffees a mountain to climb in the first half before two quick-fire strikes from corners minutes before half time, both courtesy of Yerry Mina, put Carlo Ancelotti’s side right back on level terms.
Delph, who gave the ball away for Watford’s second goal as well as 12 times overall during the contest (SofaScore), received two yellow cards for a succession of arguably rash challenges in the second half and was ultimately sent off before Theo Walcott grabbed a dramatic winner in the dying seconds.
Will Richarlison leave this summer?

He won the ball twice, I don’t think he deserved 1 yellow let alone 2! Very harsh

He won both tackles.
Red cards for getting the ball these days.
