Many have been wowed by a video of Carlo Ancelotti phoning an Everton fan suffering with motor neurone disease and the Toffees especially are brimming with pride.
The video was posted by the club’s official Twitter of the Blues boss talking to the 52-year-old man dealing with MND whilst also self-isolating due to recent events.
The footage follows another recent video a fan posted of his sister on the phone to forward Moise Kean who called up the fan to wish her Happy Mothers Day as she spent it in isolation.
Ancelotti’s gesture is part of Everton’s ‘Blue Family’ campaign which aims to help combat isolation and help out those in the community who are most vulnerable during this desperate time of need.
Many fans are bursting with pride over the gaffer’s gesture to 52-year-old Mark, with one supporter branding the Italian as ‘class personified’. Another fan has even said ‘I can’t believe you’re our manager’.
