Recent reports have claimed that Carlo Ancelotti and Everton are ‘determined’ to bring Ciro Immobile to Merseyside this summer.
According to 90min, the Italian striker is happy with Lazio but the presence of Ancelotti at the Merseyside outfit could be enough to sway him into moving to the Premier League.
Ancelotti’s arrival at Goodison Park has steadied the ship, with former boss Marco Silva having had the Blues struggling close to the bottom of the table before his dismissal. However, with many strikers listed amongst those likely to leave the club this summer, the 60-year-old is looking to bolster his attacking options and Serie A’s top scorer is reportedly a priority.
Should Everton sign Thiago Silva?
Immobile has scored an astounding 27 goals and bagged seven assists in 26 league appearances this season, totalling 30 goals across all competitions (via Transfermarkt).
Everton fans are loving the idea of snapping up the 30-year-old, with one supporter commenting it would be a ‘huge coup’ to bring Immobile to Goodison.
I mean I am laughing at this report, but wow would that be a huge coup! We’d be easily priced out of a move for him I’d say..

Why not? He’s 30 so he’d probably be at us a maximum of 3 years. They’d wanna get him. Off the books and could use the money to invest into a younger striker.

Literally fed up with all these transfer rumours. No one moving anywhere anytime soon.

Didnt work out at dortmund so can’t see why he would now swap a champions league place and the form of his life for unpredictable everton. Money talks though ofcourse.

What are your thoughts, Blues? Would you want Immobile at Goodison Park?
